Haiku Poetry - Part 2








I gave you a short introduction to Haiku poetry in Haiku Poems - A Few Samples, and so today I am posting a few more. In fact, I think I will post three a day for the next week. So, stay tuned tomorrow for Haiku Poetry: Part 3!



Here are today's poems:


the candle's bright flame
flickers in its holder
cracking the glass



the rouge on her cheeks
matches the red gloss on her lips
a prostitute's face



the soft white tissue
gives comfort to my nose
its texture's chafing
